Summary

We collect the minimum information needed to deliver patchesplay: your puzzle progress, optional account info if you sign in, and basic analytics. We never sell personal data, and we don’t share it with advertisers.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Game data: puzzle progress, solve times, redraw counts, and errors.
  • Account data: email, display name, and authentication tokens (when you sign in).
  • Device data: browser, operating system, and screen size to render the puzzle correctly.
  • Usage analytics: aggregated page visits and feature interactions used to improve the experience.

How we use it

We use the data to operate the service, improve gameplay, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and communicate updates you opt into. We never sell personal information to third parties.

Sharing

We share data with service providers strictly for hosting, analytics, and communication. They may only process data on our behalf under written agreements.

Your choices

You can request export or deletion of your account data at any time by writing to us. You can also disable analytics in browser settings or via your device's tracking controls.

Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Game data is retained as long as it is useful for analytics; aggregated metrics may persist indefinitely.

Children

Patchesplay is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
